Co-sponsored by ODU’s College of Business and Public Administration, the Economics Club’s monthly luncheon begins at noon at the Norfolk Marriott Waterside Hotel. The speaker this month is Daniel P. Kessler, Graduate School of Business, Stanford University and senior fellow, the Hoover Institution. Co-author of Healthy, Wealthy, and Wise: Five Steps to a Better Health Care System (with John F. Cogan of the Hoover Institution and Glenn Hubbard, Columbia University). This book proposes steps that may save as much as $60 billion a year and extend coverage to 20 million people who are currently uninsured. The cost is $30 for nonmembers.
