I am proud to be the 6th President of Manry Rawls since its founding in 1872. With this title comes a tremendous obligation and responsibility to serve our community, uphold our traditions and provide a work environment that is rewarding, inspiring and fun for our staff.
From the very beginning Manry Rawls has been a different kind of organization. Our founders understood that insurance wasn’t about writing a policy, but really getting to know the needs, concerns, aspirations and challenges of each client. That meant meeting with the logger in the middle of the forest, sitting down at the table with the farmer and his wife, touring manufacturing facilities and talking with workers, being at the scene of a fire at 2 in the morning, or setting up satellite offices to handle claims after a flood.
At the same time, we have seen the need to change with the times, adding new technologies and services to better serve our clientele. Our staff are highly trained and attend classes regularly to ensure they keep up with the changes in coverages and regulations. We have achieved a unique blend of traditional values, exceptional service and state-of-the-art technology to serve our clients at the highest level.
Manry Rawls has been part of this community from the start – supporting area charities and civic organizations. The agency as a whole as well as our employees, give their time, money and energy to help keep this a caring and vibrant place to live. The bottom line is we’re a local business, working with local businesses and residents to protectour assets and keep our communities strong. I couldn’t think of a more noble enterprise!
